Founded alongside Libertalia itself, the Libertalian Army is the oldest government institution still active today, even being older than the Senate!

The Libertalian Army is the ground force of the Libertalian armed forces, focusing on infantry, mechanized and armored land based operations. 

The President of Libertalia acts as Commander-In-Chief of the Army, able to request the Senate to allow him to use the Army to defend Libertalia and her people both domestically and abroad. President Connor McLean is the current Commander-In-Chief, being in the position since March of 2022. 

The Army of Libertalia is lead by the Chief of Staff of the Army, who acts as the representative of the Army to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and as the Army Advisor to the President, the current Chief is Lieutenant General O'Neal.
