The Secretary of State is the chief diplomatic advisor to the President, and acts as head of all diplomatic operations conducted by Libertalia, from assigning ambassadors to other nations, to representing Libertalia to world organizations both within micronations and beyond, this individual is the top of the line when it comes to the Libertalian diplomatic machine.

The current Secretary of State is Secretary Gabriel Sebastian, who has served in this position since March 20th, 2025. Secretary Gabriel Sebastian previously served in this position from August 14th, 2024 to January 30th, 2025.
