The Secretary of the Interior is the top advisor to the Senate, Cabinet, and President on all matters regarding resource and land management, conservation policy and environmental research in Libertalia, overseeing Libertalian resource gathering regulations, land development, and the allocation of lands to be designated as protected areas, among other responsibilities. 

The current Acting Secretary of the Interior is Secretary Alaixaiy Braus, who has served in the role since 2 July, 2026. Braus previously served in full capacity as Secretary of the Interior from 3 April, 2025 to 2 July, 2026.
