A brief history. 

The Gloria Territory is the 2nd territory of Libertalia, and the first to join post-reformation, being incorporated the same day of Libertalia's reformation. It was the first area of land to be surveyed by the Libertalian government, and was formerly the site for many of Libertalia's earliest government and military expeditions.

On June 14th, 2024, Libertalian Government officials noted construction occurring on the plot of land which currently incorporates the entirety of the Territory of Gloria. The Senate has made it known to the citizens of Libertalia that Gloria Territory will thusly be relocated to a new area at soonest convenience. 

Facts.

• Gloria was formerly entirely forested, being made up of Oak and Palmetto trees, as of July 14th, 2024, the area has been leveled for construction by American construction workers.

• Parts of Gloria would overgrow during the Floridian wet season, leaving large areas of the territory inaccessible during many months of the year. It is for this reason that Gloria was considered Libertalia's most wild, inhospitable territory.

• Due to Imperia being considered a District rather than a Territory, Gloria is considered Libertalia's oldest territory.

• Gloria territory temporarily fell under the rule of the short lived Republic (and later kingdom) of Calusa, which existed for a short period in mid 2020 during the era of Libertalian dormancy, with the flag of Gloria Territory being the flag of the former Republic of Calusa.
