The Secretary of Homeland Security is the direct advisor to the Senate, Cabinet, and President on all homeland security matters, from internal intelligence, to law enforcement, this Secretary is responsible for keeping our citizens safe within our own borders. 

The Secretary of Homeland Security is Secretary Sanchez, who assumed office on September 10th, 2026. Secretary Sanchez also serves jointly as Director of the External Security Bureau.
